Coach Jacobs played his College Lacrosse under Tony Seamen at Towson University where he was a standout player. At Towson he was part of two CAA Championship teams and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Coach Jacobs served as the Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Coach at Nassau Community College a Nationally Ranked Program with 21 National Championships. He played his High School lacrosse at Plainview Old Bethpage JFK where he was a two time All County player and a member of the 2001 Long Island Empire Team Gold Medalists. Coach Jacobs has experience coaching Football and Lacrosse at Plainview Old Bethpage High School for many years before moving to the Hempstead School District. Coached several years of Lacrosse and Football in Hempstead where he is currently a Physical Education Teacher at the Barack Obama Elementary School. Steve is the Recon Director of Player Personnel. Combined 15 years of experience Coaching PAL in Plainview and Hicksville. Has been involved in travel lacrosse for 10 plus years. Former Head Coach for the Long Island Storm. Current Coach of the Recon Cadet Team. Paul is also the Director of Operations for Recon Lacrosse.
Harry has been involved in the game of Lacrosse for over 40 years. He is the current Northeast Director of Player Development for US Lacrosse. Former 2 time President of the Long Island Metro Chapter of US Lacrosse. Former board member of the US Lacrosse Youth Council, former Director of the Hicksville PAL Lacrosse program, Current Vice President of the Nassau County PAL Youth Lacrosse League. 2012 Man of the Year by the Nassau County Lacrosse Coaches Association and also winner of the James Condon Man of the Year for 2012 by the Nassau County Lacrosse Officials Association. Harry was also inducted by into the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame with the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award. Harry is the 2016 Homer R. Schwartz Chapter Leadership Award winner from US Lacrosse. Harry currently sits on the Long Island Metro Lacrosse Hall of Fame committee and is the Co-Chairman of the Shootout for Soldiers event held each year to benefit our Veterans and troops.

Hedstrom attended Hofstra University, where he was a member of the lacrosse team from 1993 through 1997. At Hofstra he was a member of three NCAA Division I lacrosse playoff teams, Hofstra’s first NCAA quarterfinalist team and was awarded with the Steve Carlin Award in 1997 as Hofstra lacrosse’s unsung hero. Hedstrom graduated in 1997 with a bachelor of arts degree and received his master of arts degree in 1999 from Hofstra.
Hedstrom has been a tenured fine arts educator at Island Trees High School since 2000.

Coach Denis Scannell is the Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach at Suffolk Community College and serves as the offensive coordinator, strength and conditioning coach, and leadership development facilitator.
Coach Scannell is a graduate of Stony Brook University where he was a 4-year starter at midfield, 3-year captain, 1st Team All-America East, Team MVP (2000, 2002), and led the Seawolves to their first NCAA Tournament in 2002. The SBU Lacrosse alumni board selected Scannell to the Stony Brook 1st team All-Decade midfield along with professional box and field players Kevin Crowley and Ryan Duchs.
Scannell began his coaching career at MacArthur High School in 2003 as a Junior Varsity assistant. He coached the Varsity Lacrosse team at LuHi from 2004-2007, the LuHi Middle School from 2011-2014, and returned as the LuHi Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach at LuHi in 2017 and placed 1st in the conference. He has worked as an administrator and teacher at LuHi for the past 15 years. Scanell also conducts private lacrosse skills training.

Former Head Varsity Coach at Roosevelt High School . One of the most respected coaches on Long Island for turning the Roosevelt Lacrosse Program into a consistent playoff contender. Roosevelt has twice been nominated as one of the most improved teams in Nassau County under Coach Gutierrez.

Howie played his college lacrosse in between the pipes at NYIT, under Hall of Fame coach, Jack Kaley. Since 2013, he’s been involved in the West Islip Lacrosse Club where he’s been both a Goalie and Head Coach for the girls and today for the 2030 boys program. He currently is Head Coach for 2030 Recon Chaos and is one of Recon‘s goalie coaches. He’s trained several prominent Long Island goalies in the past and still trains privately today. Howie currently plays in between the pipes for the Long Island Chaos Lacrosse Club within the competitive LI Grandmasters Lacrosse League where he shares the field with several other prestigious Recon Coaches. Howie works in Finance on Wall Street while residing in West Islip with his wife Sue, and kids Caitlyn and Gavin.

Coach Nuckel is a two time All-County selection out of Division Avenue High School in Levittown. He was a member of the Long Island Empire team that won Gold in part of the Empire Games’ final year. Nuckel went on to play for the Division I, University at Albany graduating in 2015. During his time there the Great Danes won 3 America East Championships and had made one Semifinal appearance and two Quarterfinal appearances losing to powerhouses Denver and Norte Dame respectively. Nuckel went on to play for his Graduate Redshirt year at Adelphi University where the Panthers made a post season playoff appearance with a loss to Merrimack. Nuckel is currently in his final semester for achieving his Masters in Social Work at Adelphi University and is a current Assistant Lacrosse Coach for the Blue Dragons at his Alma mater Division Avenue High School. Nuckel comes from a long family history of lacrosse players with both his Father and Uncle playing at Hofstra in the 80’s and with his brother playing at Fairleigh Dickinson in 2010.

Coach Agovino has been an educator and lacrosse coach for over 20 years. He has coached many levels ranging from youth to varsity lacrosse. Currently he is a youth coach for Plainedge Youth Lacrosse and is the Head Woman’s Lacrosse coach at MacArhur HS. Coach Agovino was named “Coach of the Year” in 2016 by the Nassau County Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association He has coached Men’s lacrosse at MacArthur High, coaching many players who went on to successful careers in both college and the pros. For the past 16 years he has served as Head Football Coach at North Shore High School, receiving “Coach of the Year” honors in 2006 and was President of the Nassau County Football Coaches Association in 2010. Dan will be Coaching the Recon Cadet Team.
Coach Agovino is the “Dean of Student’s” at Jonas Salk Middle School in Levittown. He lives in Plainedge with his wife Nicole and three sons Ryan, Dominic and Sean.

Coach Mullin has been an English Teacher for the last Six years and he currently works at John Adams High School in South Ozone Park, Queens. When he is not teaching, Coach Mullin enjoys coaching young athletes in various different sports. He spent the last three seasons at the helm of the POB Middle School Boys Lacrosse team. Coach was also the Head Coach of the Recon 2021 Mountain Team last year. What he loves most about coaching, as well as teaching, is watching his players grow throughout a season not only as players, but also as individuals. Coach Mullin believes very strongly in the “team” mentality of his players and is looking very much forward to the upcoming 2019 Recon Lacrosse Season.

Recon Lacrosse Alumni. Current Face-Off Midfielder at Limestone University where he is a three time All American and won a National Championship in 2014 & 2015. Kevin was also the 2015 Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award Winner as the Most Outstanding Player in NCAA Division II. In high school Kevin was All-County and All-League his Senior year and All-League his Junior year at West Babylon HS. One of the top Face-Off players in Suffolk County during his Senior Season with a 78% Face-Off Win Percentage. Kevin will be our Face-off specialist working with all Recon Teams in 2019.

Coach Campolettano is the Current Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Molloy College and below is some of his resume.
-Since starting the program in its inaugural 2006 season, Campolettano has brought the Lions forward in leaps and bounds – including a record-setting 2010 season, where the women finished with a 15-2 overall record and narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
-Under his guidance, a 30 student-athletes have been named to the All-East Coast Conference ledger, totaling 70 selections. Three have been named to the All-ECC preseason squad, and 12 different players have been recognized as Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association All-Region honorees for a total of 21 times. Finally, seven have been named USA College Lacrosse All-Americans.
-Prior to starting up the women’s lacrosse program at Molloy, Campolettano spent seven years as the head coach of the girls’ lacrosse team at Manhasset High School. During his time with the Indians, Campolettano compiled an impressive 110-22-4 overall record, while garnering the Nassau County Coach of the Year Award in 2001. He also earned Newsday Nassau County Coach of the Year laurels in 2003 and 2004. In addition, Campolettano guided his squad to three straight Nassau County and Long Island Small School Championships. In 2003, his Manhasset team won the New York State Small School Championship.
-Aside from coaching, Campolettano also served as the Vice President of the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation from 2000-03 before becoming President during 2003-05. He is currently the Womens Lacrosse Hall of Fame Chairperson as well as a voting member for the mens Hall of Fame nominating committee. He is also currently a member of the NCAA Division II Regional Women’s Lacrosse Committee. He has been on the LIMLF Board of Directors since 1996 and is currently the 2nd Vice President. He was a member of the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse National Committee and currently is a member of the Division II All-American Committee. He served as the Chairperson of the same committee from 2008-2011. He was named President of the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse in September 2018.
-In 2012, Campolettano was inducted into the Manhasset Lacrosse Hall of Fame for his dedication and contributions to the program. On February 8, 2014, Campolettano was inducted into the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame. On June 10 2015, he was honored by the Nassau County Lacrosse Officials as their Man of the Year.
